The internationally renowned novelist and screenwriter Yan Geling, whose novels and short stories have been the basis for a number of extremely successful cinema films and television series, will read from her books and talk about her work. Yan Geling has been successful in both China and the USA, is considered a luminary in the field of screenwriting and is today, among other things, one of the few Berliners to be a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences who annually awards the Oscars.
