Wayang Rajakaya (1), 3 pm:
„Dal Gembong: Unser neuer Mitbewohner, der Wachhund“

It all starts with an argument between twin sisters Sarah and Farah, the two cows on the farm. Sarah accuses Farah of eating her fresh grass. A quarrel ensues, in which all the other animals on the farm also get involved, each taking sides with one of the two sisters, leading to an unholy mess on the farm. The farmer, who appears only indirectly in this story, solves the problem in a practical way by bringing the watchdog, Dal Gembong, onto the farm. This is the end of the story, but the conflict is not resolved, it is just that it can no longer be carried out openly under Dal Gembong's demonstration of power. Thus, this parable actually asks for possibilities to negotiate conflicts of interest on an equal footing.

Wayang Rajakaya (2), 5 pm:
„Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Ort“

In the story "In Search of a New Place" the farm and forest animals have to flee because they lose their habitat. All the animals build a plane together and search for a safe place where they can live in peace. The story is about friendship, environmental destruction and empowerment. The story is told in German, the songs are in Indonesian.

Both performances last about 30 minutes each and are accompanied by music. The puppets, the music and the stories were made, written and performed by Herlambang Bayu Aji himself. For the song Yu Cemani, Sarah and Dal Gembong, Camilla Kussl and Dorle Ferber played and sang along.
