
Born and raised in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Sonny Thet was sent by Prince Sihanouk to study European music in the classical city of Weimar. There he successfully graduated from the Franz Liszt College and subsequently became a co-founder of the legendary group Bayon. During this time he developed his distinctive style, which combines Khmer pentatonic with European classical, jazz and rock elements. Through this unique fusion of Asian and European musical traditions, Sonny Thet creates wonderful new creations , expressing his artistic personality.
Cathrin Pfeifer Cathrin Pfeifer was born in the GDR and grew up in East Berlin. Later she studied at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy and founded her own band. She also played with well-known musicians like Steve Lacy, the rock band Keimzeit or the singer Etta Scollo. She currently plays in her trio Trezoulé with Takashi Peterson on guitar and Andi Bühler on drums. She also plays with Katharina Franck in the Dead Poets' Club. In 2016, she was visited by Max Moor for the RBB series "Bauer sucht Kultur". She also made an appearance in the film "Eine Braut kommt selten allein" with Paul Würdig in a club in Berlin.
