Sluts in Sarees is a spoken-word performance created and performed by six South Asian women. It’s theatre, it’s ritual, it’s protest, it’s poetry—it’s a sensual, subversive reclamation of space, voice, and pleasure. We use our real stories, our mothers’ memories, our foremothers’ silences, our collective pleasure, and the absurdities of modern patriarchy to create a performance with joy and wit that moves across registers: from the sacred to the profane, the erotic to the everyday.
