Marque-Lin is a multi-disciplinary performer, theater artist, poet and community organizer from California and New York that works in the mediums of poetry, film, dance, mixed media and experimental music. With a background in acting, German and sociology, they specialize in intercultural and decolonial theory, with a focus upon performance and dramaturgy. They founded MSG & Friends, a queer-led Berlin based artist collective, that is independently organized to provide event opportunities and spaces for artists of Asian-heritage. Alongside independent artistic work and direction, their current project has had them co-found United Networks (gUG), a non-profit that tackles structural racial discrimination and inequity in German cultural discourse, through providing a programming of specialized networking events, residencies, workshops, and more. They are currently an MA candidate in Dramaturgy at Goethe Universität and a Goethe Goes Global scholar.
