Lars Jongeblod is an author, poet and literary and cultural organiser in Berlin. He is co-founder of Berliner Literarische Aktion e.V. and Netzwerk freie Literaturszene Berlin nflb e.V. and Co-organizer of the Berlin Asia Arts Festival (2023) and the Berlin Asia Arts Club. He is also active in the independent literary scene as a moderator, speaker and English/German translator. His debut novel ÜBER DIE ZÄUNE, which has been awarded Raniser Debüt, was published in 2017. He holds a scholarship for German-language literature (2021) from the Berlin Senate for Culture and Europe. His current work WATER has been collectively adapted into a poetry film (co-production Berlin/DEU – Quito/ECU), which has been shown at international poetry and film festivals, including Award Winner BEST EXPERIMENTAL 2025 – Yes! Let's Make a Movie International Film Festival, Montréal (Québec/CAN).
