Sluts in Sarees is a spoken-word performance collective consisting of five South Asian women. Moaning, throbbing, yearning and sometimes screaming, they rage against the patriarchy, sing of sensuality and connect with the erotic. Experience how they reclaim and revive the language of desire through poetry and protest, characterised by movements and poses inspired by the Tawaifs, the courtesans of the Mughal court.
