Sluts in Sarees is a spoken-word performance collective of five South Asian women. Moaning, throbbing, craving, and sometimes screaming, they rage against patriarchy, sing of sensuality, and commune with the erotic. Witness them reclaiming and reviving the language of desire through poetry and protest, punctuated by movements and poses inspired by the Tawaifs, the courtesans of the Mughal court.
